Yesterday was my birthday...my 41st birthday to be exact.  Not only was it on Friday 13th, but it was celebrated by my 2 children, my man, and some of the best friends a girl could ask for.  Also, this was the first time ever that myself and my 2 children all celebrated our birthdays on the same day!  My son turned 9 last week and my daughter will be 20 next week.  It never ceases to amaze me how quickly time passes...life's what happens when you're busy making other plans, I guess. For many many years I have tried my best to live the simple life, being as happy and content as possible with what I have and who I share it with.  Material thin

It's been a while since I wrote here.  Life has been hectic to say the least. The constant changes at work and my new post have added to the stress of every day, among other things.  Some days it's a good thing I love my job, even after 2 years, or I'd have to seriously rethink employment. I haven't created a new furry in a while now and the itch is creeping back in.  I've got an urge to make a new pattern, perhaps something I've never tried before.  Time to pull out all my patterns and let my mind wander where it will.  I may go researching for some new inspiration and see where it takes me.  One of these days I'm going to make a Goth Bear.

I hadn't been paying attention to making my bears for some time...my heart didn't feel like it was connected right.  The last month or so I have been working on several different ones.  All told I have orders for 8 more and thankfully they don't need to be done by Christmas.  Regardless of how many of the same pattern I make, even if I use the same fur, they are never totally alike.  Each one of them has their very own and distinct personality.
